Maximizing Reimbursement

This web-based course advances the knowledge of the reimbursement specialist through a series of proven exercises that will maximize reimbursement for spine procedures. This course teaches users how to read and analyze the fee schedule, calculate minimum expected payment and track payments on a surgery. This course also instructs on how to evaluate a claim and EOB, and decide on whether to appeal the claim, and to what level.

This course outlines specific procedures that are proven to be efficient and effective. It is based upon actual protocols and processes followed by the Business Dynamics RCM staff on a daily basis. Printable resources including coding applications handbook, audit sheet templates and fee schedule templates are available for users to keep as a reference tool after completion of the course.
